Hi everyone, how are you? These 2 weeks i have been pretty busy with my HDB stuff and assignment that almost left me breathless. Talking about the HDB documents... gosh.. i'm seen like a primary school kid asking the HDB officer how to complete the application form. Haha. Well... guess my understanding is very different from normal people or my case is confusing la.

So excited to hear from Arlene her boxes are here. IT MEANS MY FOOD RATION IS HERE TOO!!! Cant believe i can be so Kampong pulling my luagage from one end of Adiamo to the other end. Anyway thats not the point. Is my presents are here!!!!

Amazing Weather

My Belly Dance Class

These are some of the pictures taken while waiting for my instructor to come. The place though is 5-10mins drive from my apartment, it is a very "Wu Lu" place surrounded by old private apartments.






Oh ya, for get to mention, this road "belongs" to Linda cos the road name is Loma Linda Blvd. Haha

Dan Dan Mein Receipes (Min's receipes)

1. Minced meat (Marinate for 30min -1hr)

2. Spring onion

3. Garlic

4. Shedded cucumber

5. Noodles

Throw in no. 1 to 3 with all the seasoning such as salt, light soya sauce, seseme oil and lots of sugar into pan and fry till it is cooked. Boil the noodles for 3-5mins. Drain off the water from the noodles. Place the noodles on the plate. Pour in 1/2 tbs of dark soya sauce on the noodles. Place the cooked minced meat and shedded cucumber on top of the noodles and serve.

My Teochew Soon Kueh (First attempt)

"Tadang" here is the picture of my Teochew Soon kueh. Haha guess the skin is slightly too thick. Wanted to use the Hakka receipes but out of sudden i do not have yam in my inventory. No problem, i have left half the ingredients in the fridge and going to try again once i get my yam.

Just mention that the wind is very strong in the morning and guess what..? My plants really fly away. It got blown off my patio onto the pavement. Manage to savage them but i got back a cracked pot. Sob sob....

Cold Windy Day

Today is a cold windy day. The wind is almost 45miles/hr which is almost 60km/hr.. Hope my plants outside wont fly away. Talking about my plant, haha still growing slowly, very slowly that i doubt i be able to see my chilli padi growing out.

I am really amaze by the power of internet and www. Last weekend me and xuan spotted chives"Jiu cai" in an oriental market and immediately both of us thinking of his mum "Jiu Cai Soon Kueh". As usual we bought the fresh chives without thinking how to make it. Everyday when i open the fridge i will be staring at the packet of chives and it seen like there is a strong force telling me to cook it. Finally today i log in online and search for the receipes and guess what, tones of receipes keep flowing out and i even have unexpected receipes that i have long forgotten. Wish me luck in my making.
