Updates for this week

Hmmm... recently keep rotting at home playing game and watching drama. Whats next to keep me excited after yoga and aerobic?

Oh ya new rotation people is here. Yeh yeh i have frens coming. Although xuan do not need to mentor any people for this time round, we still go to base to welcome them. Haha my arrival to phoneix do not follow normal procedure so this time i am very excited to see hows the feeling of first time stepping into US and airbase as a group.

Their apartment and not ready yet and so they are arranged to stay in airbase for a week before moving to their apartment.

While waiting for the people to prepare for dinner, we have hot chocolate at the reception.

Amazing person & Amazing body

I always find a human is very amazing from the way we live, we see, we eat, we walk, we talk and everything. When you want to type you can just simply move your arms, fingers and worked on you brain. Everything seen like a package. haha.

Happened to watch this show introducing incredible person and took a photo from it. This lady in the center met an accident and her bottom half body is cut off to save her life and best of all she is still living very well and can take care of herself and her kids. She walk out of the stage using her arms. I really cant imagine how she can survive such as how do food come out of her body etc. Human body is really powerful, amazing and incredible.

Our New car plate Number

Oh haha view back my blog and realise i havent upload my new car plate number. Haha. Quite nice number right as compared to my last one especially can buy 4D. If got "open" this number must tell me. k. haha Althought as usual i dont buy one.

English carrot cake & Honey Green Tea

Haha. Dont know why but i seen to like carrot cake. Normal young people should like chocolate or watever cake instead of me carrot cake. Anyway i very different mah. haha. Extra right?

Oh ya spotted xuan drinking this tea one day and he bought for me to try. Very nice and i guess it is the best green tea i ever drank to date since i landed on Arizona that is not so extremely sweet tea as compared to others.

My yoga Mat

Hey hey here is my new yoga mat from Walmart. haha only USD10. Very pink hor. Nevermind i like bright colours. One day i go yoga and found myself wearing red pant and pink logo t-shirt and carrying this mat. haha extremely shinning right? haha

Oriental Supermarket - Lams

Haha today go oriental supermarket with polly and irene. Bought some fish squid and dark soya sauce.

Got inspired by polly to make squid stuffed with meat and steam them. Haha typical teochew dish that mum cooked before. Yeyeh. Kow found long bean very x sia haha.

Very sad, i put alot of effort on the steam pink grouper since it is fresh bought from the market but who know it is so call "lo go". The meat is so hard like rubber. Angry! Dont buy so big fish next time.

Tucson Trip on 31 Aug 08

His everyone, here is my Tucson Trip photos. Tucson is abt 2hrs drive from Phoneix but i am still in Arizona. Haha imagine how big is US. Just a state can be so much bigger than Spore.

Our plan for the trip is first the Kartchner Caverns Cave - A living limestone cave, Tombstone and finally Mission San Xavier del Bac church.

Well.. due to no camera is allowed in the cave, dont know y and so there is no photos from the Kartchner Cavern but only the photos from the entrance.

Oh ya on our way to the tombstone we are caught in the rain and here is the pictures. Haha you get to see the one area is raining and the other area is still sunny.

Tombstone, a ghost town and also a cowboy town. The people are all very well dress and this auntie in red is real beautiful haha. She is the one who saw me very amazed by her dressing and ask me to take photo with her. I like her dress very much. hehe and after she took photos with us, she ask where we are from. hehe as usual, many do not know where is Singapore or not even Malaysia. Their first idea is oh China, no? Japan? haha

We even took this interesting photo. haha cost us $35. I am conflicting between a victoria style or a saloon girl style and i finally selected saloon girl cos it look more interesting. Since it is a 70s photo might as well be differernt. Well.. it is an instant photo, i do have certain areas not happy with but can only accept. Well ... so sad i look so fat and the stocking given to me is broken. Argh!!!

We have our lunch cum dinner at this longhorn restraunt. Waited for almost 45mins for our food. Faint...

Finally Mission San Xavier del Bac church. But sad to say we did not really visit this church because it is dark by then and thunderstorm. We did drive to the church but however it turn out to be more like a vampire home with thunder and lighting behind the church. So Ah song just took a photo from the car and we drove back. The road is flooded with frog jumping in front of us. A very erie journey with cemetery right beside the road. Not sure why but we get to see reflective light from the cemetery. Guess the the tomb have some element of reflective material similar to those on the road. Ah song even say the road seen smoky. Haha. Up to your imagination then. hehe

We started our journey at 8.30am and finally home at 10pm

Xuan's Collection

Oh ya here very popular in collecting quarter coins because since 1999, the states have been slowly issuing different states quarter coins and till now it is still issuing. All the states have different pictures to represent themselves. We bought this map from Michaels and here is xuan's collection so far.

Nice hor with the map picture. For people like me who is very confuse with the states, it is the best of the best. Haha

Mint's Dessert - Apple Crumble

Wow thanks to Felin who send me this receipe. Very nice. haha. Althought abit troublesome but it is all worth it. This can be one of my dish if there is any event. All of my families and friends waiting in Singapore, wait oh! haha i know i own you guys alot of dishes. haha

Battle with Coconut

Haha. Everyone is specialised in sometime. Same to Pa Sa Ma Lum man who sell coconut. It do need skill. Hee hee here are the photos of how i can finally eat coconut. hehe

Taste so sweet and refreshing. Best for summer! Conclusion: Coconut must choose heavy means alot of water and green indicate the flesh is soft.

But of cos finally good husband who spend 15mins chopping the coconut and me 15mins clearing the mess. haha
